Hello – I’m Veysel and I’ve been a licensed tour guide since 2001. I was born in northern Turkey, studied at Bilkent University in Ankara, am trilingual (Turkish, English, Spanish), and am a certified nature tour guide. I am a co-founder of Serendipity Travel and have been leading tours since our founding in 2006.
I first started guiding trekking tours in southern Turkey on the Lycia and Caria routes in summertime, while traveling on my motorcycle crossing Africa, Asia, Europe, and the Americas in winters.
Now I guide Australian groups in the Balkan countries, Turkey, the Caucasus region, and the Middle East, while living part time in California and part time in Turkey on a sailing boat
I am passionate about hiking, surfing, traveling, archeology, history, learning new languages, and sailing the Greek islands and beautiful Turkish coastline.
