Tour Itinerary
Day 1: Istanbul
Arrival of guests in Istanbul, transfer to hotel and welcome briefing, overnight in Istanbul.
Day 2: Istanbul
Full day tour program includes: Turkish and Islamic Arts museum, Hippodrome, Blue Mosque, Haghia Sophia, Sunken Cistern and Topkapi Palace (excluding harem). Dinner will be served at Daruzziyafe, in the historical venue of Suleymaniye Mosque complex. (B,D)
Day 3: Istanbul
Full day tour program includes: Rustem Pasha Mosque, Spice Bazaar, Bosphorus Cruise, Pierre Loti teahouse and the Grand Bazaar. Dinner will be served at the fish restaurant in Kumkapi live music performed by gypsy orchestra. (B,D)
Day 4: Ankara - Cappadocia
Overnight sleeper train journey (or optional morning fly) and morning arrive to Ankara, tour of the Ataturk Mausoleum and Anatolian Civilizations Museum. Departure to Cappadocia, we drive along the Salt Lake, on the way visit 13th century Agzikarahan Caravansary. Freel Whirling Dervishes performance is held in 13th century Caravansary, Cappadocia. Day 5: Cappadocia
Optional balloon tour can be done in the morning, flying over volcanic valleys and rock formations (fairy chimneys). After breakfast, we visit Goreme, Avanos, Pasabagi, Uchisar, Kaymaklý underground city. (B,D)
Day 6: Konya - Pamukkale
Morning departure to Konya. On the way we visit Mevlana Mausoleum and Karatay Koran School, continue to Pamukkale for overnight. (B,D)
Day 7: Pamukkale - Aphoridisias - Kusadasi
Morning visit to ancient city of Hierapolis and see Pamukkale which has been formed by white calcium deposits. Drive to Aphrodisias city of Aphrodite, we visit one of the best preserved ancient city of Turkey and then continue to Kusadasi. (B,D)
Day 8: Ephesus - Kusadasi
Full day tour starts visiting spectacular ancient city of Ephesus, the House of Virgin Mary and well preserved authentic village of Sirince. (B,D)
Day 9: Pergamum – Troy - Canakkale
Morning departure to Pergamum. We will visit ancient hospital of Asklepion and Acropolis. Afternoon we explore the ancient city of Troy, drive to Canakkale for overnight.(B,D)
Day 10: Dardanelles - Gallipoli - Istanbul
Morning departure to Gallipoli and across the Dardanelle visit Anzac Cove, Chunuk Bair, Lone pine cemetery and Galipoli War Museum then drive to Istanbul we visit Military Museum and attend live performance of Military Band (Mehter). (B)
Day 11: Istanbul
Transfer to airport (B)
